Parenting Pathways in-home parent education has been offering services in the Northern Utah region for over 40 years under our partner agency the Family Support Center of Ogden. Parenting Pathways provides in-home parent education offering weekly, customized hands-on coaching for parents and caregivers. Utah Division of Child & Family Services caseworker referral required.
Nurturing Skills for Parenting
Details:
- For parents and caregivers of children ages 0-5
- Learn about your child’s brain development and age-appropriate expectations, healthy parent and child bonding, and communicating thoughts and feelings
- 7-week in-home parent education
- Hands-on coaching using evidence-based curriculum
- Choose the lessons that apply to your family
- Certificate of completion when program is complete
- No income requirements
- No referral needed
- No waitlist
- Must live in Ogden
SafeCare
Details:
- Weekly in-home parent education and hands-on coaching
- For parents and caregivers of children ages 0-5
- Preventative based lessons focusing on safety, health, nutrition, etc.
- Ideally taken before trial home placements to better prepare parents for the return of their children
Peer Parenting
Details:
- Weekly in-home parent education and hands-on coaching
- For parents and caregivers of children ages 0-17
- Focuses on improving parent-children relationships, lessons on emotions, coping, parent response, etc.
- Ideally taken before trial home placements to better prepare parents for the return of their children
